Good - location (a pleasant ten minute walk to the town and beach), breakfast (good choice and fresh), staff (friendly and helpful).

Bad - room very basic (but it was cheap), no hot water at all, toilet wouldn't flush properly. Hotel was good value for a one night stopover, but wouldn't want to spend more than a couple of nights there.

Swimming pool, helpful staff, WiFi, quite nice buffet although not fantastic.

The doorknob was almost broken but it somehow resisted... Greekagic, I guess...

The room was very convenient, the breakfast great and the swimming pool a very nice choice if it is a windy day for the beach.I loved the breakfast area- open air, comfy chairs, big tables and a good variety

The only fact is that you need a car to go to the centre of Matala if you do not enjoy walking very much

We stayed in this Hotel just for one night. The structure is good: there is a very nice pool, our room was simple but clean and confortable. Also the position is good: 5 minutes walk to the centre of Matala, but in a quite area, perfect for a relaxing stay.

The breakfast was poor, very limited choice and low quality.

We spent there 2 nights of our Creta tour from 15th to 17th july 2012. The room was very simply, clean, in good and calm position, air conditioned, good breakfast. We raccomand this stucture. We used as base for visit Matala, Festos, Agia Triada, Cosmos Beach. Don't forget to eat fish or creatan cousine to the near restourant Mystical View
